Budakov Films organized a Multiplier event entitled “Service Learning: Unlocking Its Many Benefits”. This event was held on March 28th 2023 in Sofia, Bulgaria and was hosted by the New Bulgarian University. It brought together students, high school teachers, faculties, policy makers and community members for 3 hours where renowned speakers shared their best practices in designing a service-based learning for secondary schools. However, the event was opened by Prof. Dr. Petyo Budakov, Managing Director of Budakov Films who delivered a panel “TOGETHER: Implementing Service-Based Learning in the Classroom”. The attendees became familiar with all project results which were produced during the Erasmus+ co-funded project TOGETHER as well as testing its innovative learning management system

EUROGEO held its Multiplier event for the TOGETHER project on Thursday 27th of April 2023. More than 40 Geography teachers and educators from 14 countries participated in the interactive presentation given by Gert Ruepert which introduced service learning in school contexts, explained the aims of the TOGETHER project, presented the main outcomes and products and invited questions on the implementation of service learning in schools. The participants were enthusiastic about the approach and the potential to engage students in community activities.

A service learning Multiplier Event was recently held in collaboration with Berlin Cosmopolitan School (BCS), led by Mark Johnson, the head of schools, and Katharina Ehrenfried, the Innovation and Erasmus Management at BCS. The event aimed to inform 35 potential partners for a service learning project and local educational contacts about the theory of service learning and the products of the Project TOGETHER. The project aimed to improve local cultural heritage through vocational development in secondary schools. As part of the project, three applications were developed for teachers and school administrators in secondary schools.

“Eurocrea Merchant organised the multiplier event of the project “Implement service learning in schools TO GET digital cultural HERitage enhanced”- Together on 21 April 2023 in Italy, at the Istituto dei Sordi di Torino (Pianezza).
In the event entitled “SERVICE LEARNING, CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION IN SCHOOLS”, the project was presented, with its objectives, partnership and results. The event was attended by school representatives, teachers and educators, and some students, who expressed their degree of satisfaction in a final evaluation questionnaire. The participants appreciated the innovative methodology proposed in the project and the results presented”.

Serbia

The Multiplier event took place on 11th of April in Savremena Gimnazija, Belgrade, involving a total of about 40 participants. The introductory speech included a brief description of service learning methodology and the importance of implementing it in society and schools. In the second part of the event it was explained the functionality and the contents of the platform. Finally, the participants registered to the platform and explored its contents. At the end of the event, the participants were invited to join the discussion and talk about their skills, experience and good practices. Supported by interesting presentations and speeches, the participantd were happy to talk about their experience. They expressed satisfaction with the organization of the event, the information and the practical orientation of the knowledge they received.

Emphasys Centre organized two parts for its Multiplier Event, reaching 43 participants. Since both parts were held in two secondary schools (Kykkos B’ Lyceum and Agia Varvara High School), the people reached were mainly secondary school teachers and students. During both parts, the TOGETHER project was presented and participants had the opportunity to learn more about the Service Learning Approach, navigate through the TOGETHER platform and brainstorm on ways to apply this methodology to their classes.
